Subarashiki sekai (Under the Open Sky)

Un ancien yakuza d'âge moyen est libéré de prison après treize ans où il a été placé pour meurtre. Il a du mal à s'adapter à la société et à la liberté, à trouver un travail et à communiquer normalement.

Mikami, a middle-aged ex-yakuza released after serving 13 years for murder, hopes to find his long-lost mother. He applies for a TV show and meets young director Tsunoda while struggling to fit into society. His impulsive nature and ingrained beliefs create friction with Tsunoda and others who try to help him.
